The problem & situation

This company is on a very important mission: making digital healthcare available to everyone in The Netherlands. They aim to do so by offering a service desk proposition that is equipped to help people who get stuck somewhere in the scattered, digital healthcare landscape. At the same time, this service helps hospitals or other healthcare providers by answering a lot of questions that are not directly related to actual healthcare but rather how to interact with the system. This puts them in a unique position, understanding where patients get stuck and what type of questions they have while also understanding the side of healthcare providers. Subsequently, creating a dataset that has the potential to make an impact on the governmental policy level.

The solution

To unlock the value hidden in the data and transform this to actionable insights, Chapter Data created a solid, trustworthy data environment that brings all information together in a centralized hub. We've created data pipelines that extract, load and transform the raw data into a reportable format. Next, we've developed Dashboarding in Power BI to enable our client with powerful information they can use to report back to healthcare providers. The process was set up with a modular philosophy, easily adding new building blocks on top to broaden the scope or find answers to evolving questions.

The outcome

Our client was able to improve the service they offer to healthcare providers by giving them in-depth reporting about patients in their area of service. Next to that, being able to pinpoint where patients get stuck in the digital healthcare process will over time make a lasting impact on the healthcare sector. Making sure that everyone is able to interact with the system and in turn, receives the best (digital) healthcare possible.
