The challenge and environment for you
As a Data Engineer at Chapter Data, Your main challenge will be to build connections between, data, systems, tools and people. This means you’ll need to be creative, because you will encounter many challenges that require you to push yourself to think out of the box, and to develop ways to get the most out of the available data.
Practically, you will design, develop, implement, and monitor data pipelines to extract, load, and transform data, and you’ll optimize data processing and performance. You’ll build, improve and maintain Data Warehouse, Data Mart, Data Mesh, or Lakehouse solutions, and you’ll collaborate with data professionals or enthusiasts to understand their needs and requirements, all the while ensuring data availability.
Of course, you’ll always stay on top of the latest technological advancements, understanding and advising on how organizations can leverage them, fitting to their strategic needs. And you’ll do all of this with one-on-one coaching and on-the-job learning, from a very experienced senior Data Expert; our co-founder Sander Klinkenberg.
